Sheldon Wisson
Vice-President, Terminal Operations
Sheldon Wisson joined RailTerm in 1996 at the start-up of CPR Expressway and is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day terminal operations. A key player in opening of the Expressway terminal at Agincourt, he was also instrumental in the relocation of the West Toronto terminal to Milton. Sheldon has over 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, including 16 as a truck owner-operator. He is certified as an engine attendant, car inspector, TDG/HazMat, forklift cards, and in safety and regulatory affairs, fire safety, locomotive safety inspector. Sheldon has received numerous awards and certificates for safety and for “Train-The-Trainer”.
Dave McNeill
Vice-President, Track and Signal Maintenance
Dave McNeill is responsible for the track and signal maintenance team for VIA Rail, “Agence métropoliatine de transport” and for Capital Railway. He joined RailTerm in the fall of 2002 with over 31 years of railway experience. Previously he was Manager, Quality Control, Signals and Communications; and Project Manager, Infrastructure Upgrade at Canadian National Railway (CNR). He was also Quality Control Supervisor (S & C, Eastern Canada), and Installation Supervisor (CN & AR Concepts). Dave was a member of CNR committees that developed S & C Standards, CN Signal & Inspection Rules (SITR), S & C General Instructions (CNR), and Signal Design Review. He has trained extensively in Signal Systems and completed CNR management courses in Labor Relations, Process Management, Project Management, Conflict Resolution, Critical Thinking, Productive Supervision, Investigations, and Time Management. He holds an A-Card in CROR rules.
Phil Lemenchick
General Manager, Track Maintenance
Phil Lemenchick joined RailTerm in 1999 and is responsible for major projects. He was instrumental in the start-up of Capital Railway and for the maintenance contract for VIA Rail. Prior to joining RailTerm, he was with Canadian National Railway (CNR) and has 25 years of maintenance-of-way experience, both at the track maintenance and management levels. He completed CNR management courses such as: Management Appreciation Course, CWR Course, Welding Appreciation Course, Employee Relations Course, and the Dangerous Goods and Commodities Course, as well as other health and safety courses. He holds an A-Card in CROR rules.
